Colossians 4:12 (KJV) Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

In the above verse Apostle Paul inspired by the Holy Spirit is writing to the Colossian Christians and gives us a great testimony about Epaphras. Among other things he tells them that Epaphras is “always labouring fervently for you in prayers that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.”

If you stand perfect and complete in all the will of God it means you have excellently  done and completed everything that God asked you to do. It means you have excelled in fulfilling God’s purpose for your life. Therefore, Epaphras prayed for other Christians to excel in life and fulfil God’s will for their lives. What a testimony of Epaphras commitment to the advancement of the kingdom of God. He was not selfish, he did not only pray for himself but prayed for other Christians to excel in doing the will of God for their lives in Jesus name, amen.

Be consistent in praying for other people to excel in their lives. In so doing, other people will be driven by the power of the Holy Spirit to pray for you to also excel in fulfilling God’s will for your life. You reap what you sow (reference Galatians 6:7-9).
